I feel so fortunate to live on the Central Coast. It is absolutely gorgeous here. There is one thing I do miss though. I don’t get to enjoy all the seasons like I used to. Most of my winter clothes found their way into a box three years ago and have not been touched since. I think of all my heavy jackets, mittens, and scarves that don’t see the light of day anymore. When you live in an area that is generally warmer year round it can be hard to find ways to incorporate fall and winter styles into your wardrobe. That doesn’t mean it’s impossible!
This plaid full lace-up shirt is a fun fall styled shirt. It is light-weight and great for the cooler nights. I absolutely love that you have the option to roll up the sleeves too. The plunging neckline and lace-up front perfectly dresses up this plaid top and allows for many creative layering ideas.

The next major fall accessory that I’m sure you all love as much as I do are boots. I can never get enough boots during the fall. I have been searching for some over-the-knee boots that won’t brake the bank. I found these gorgeous tie-back over-the-knee boots in multiple colors and at a great price. I purchased both the burgundy and black pairs to add to my wardrobe. Finding boots that are durable, good quality, and at a reasonable price can be hard sometimes. I am completely in love with these and highly recommend them!
Finally, I brought the whole outfit together with my new favorite pair of skinny stretch jean leggings. I’m a big fan of stretch jean leggings. They are such a comfortable way to wear your fall look. The dark jean color really makes my top and boots pop, which I love.
If you live in cooler climates than temperate California, you could add a fun jacket or flirty scarves to this outfit for a warmer ensemble.
