If you’re like me, the last time you probably wore a one-piece swimsuit was when you were 10. That was of course until now. In the past, one-piece swimsuits always reminded me of the mom swimsuit. I know, I know…horrible! I’m guessing this is because when I look at photos from my childhood there is my mom in her one-piece suit with all of us.
This summer my news feed has been flooded with the most adorable one-piece options. Seeing my friends wear all these cute new styles made me want one too. I knew I had to get one before my trip to the Dominican Republic this past June. I wanted something simple with a little bit of sex appeal. I settled on this black one-piece swimsuit from Kenneth Cole and I couldn’t be more in love with it. The fit is very slimming and offers visually appealing side cut-outs. It’s supper comfortable and very flattering too! Best part, it’s on sale right now for a great price!
I love how the fashion of one-piece swimsuits has evolved. Adding modern touches like cutouts, zippers, and ties to create fun and flattering looks. Sometimes you want more coverage and these new designs offer that. I have always been a fan of a more classic look. The one-piece swimsuit definitely fits into that classic look for me. I’m thrilled that I’ve found a new love for the one-piece suit and will definitely be adding more to my wardrobe! With autumn right around the corner, so many swimsuits are on sale right now. It’s a great time to buy if you want to stock up for next year or you live in an area like me, where unfortunately you don’t really get to enjoy the seasons. Yay for more beach time! Bummer for missing the fall colors I miss so much.
Here are some other one-piece swimsuit styles that I am a huge fan of! Which ones are your favorite? Have you jumped on the one-piece swimsuit bandwagon yet?
